What Happened in the End? – Joanne Wood

Thursday 14th May, 10am – 12noon, Rochdale Central Library

This week’s Riverside Writers  creative writing workshop will be led by Jo Wood. Jo is a writer who has a talent for telling stories and for including plenty of humour. She is also a volunteer guide at Rochdale Town Hall where she shares lots of history and stories about the building, the town and those who lived here.

Her workshop this week is “What happened in the End?” – so let’s see what happens….

Riverside Writers are open to anyone aged 18+, there is no need to book and the sessions are free of charge (a voluntary donation of £2 is welcome from those who wish). Just bring a notebook, pen and your imagination.

Rochdale Writes – ONLINE Writing Group

Tuesday 12th May, 6.30pm – 8pm

This is the first meeting of a new online creative writing group. The group will welcome all writers aged 18+ and is being established to enable those unable to travel to venues, and those unable to attend daytime groups, to take part. The session will be led by Seamus Kelly with writing prompts and chance to write and share some work. There is no charge for this session. The meeting will take place on Zoom – you can click the link below from you browser on a phone, tablet or computer to join the meeting:
