Well! what an inspiring week of creative writing and poetry in Rochdale, including a great performance by Riverside Writer, Yasmin Hussain, standing up really well alongside some seasoned top performers including Rochdale Young Poet in residence Alende Amisi, Sid Calderbank, Hafsa Aneela Bashir and Mike Garry. This week Ray Stearn will deliver a workshop entitled “Never Never”.
If you don’t come along you might never never catch this particular mixture of words, inspiration and of course a sprinkling of puns and Ray’s ability to entertain with words – it was not for nothing that Ray was Children’s Librarian in Rochdale (actually it was for a salary and of course a love of books, storytelling. and people).
As always our session is open to anyone aged 18+, no need to books, just bring something to write with and your imagination. Riverside Writers is free to attend but we do welcome a voluntary contribution of £2 from those who are able and wish to support our running costs.
