Katie Haigh at Riverside

The Dreaded Blank Page – Rochdale Central Library, Number One Riverside, 10am – 12noon

This week we are delighted to welcome Heywood based poet and writer Katie Haigh as a guest facilitator. Katie is known as the leader of the monthly Heywood Scribblers writing group,  previously led a writing group at Darnhill and facilitated for Langley Writers. Katie plays a significant role with Sign Along With Us, she is a Brownie Leader and an artist. She is always busy as a mother and grandmother and is never short of ideas.

Katie will lead a session about dealing with The Dreaded Blank Page. Every writer will sometimes face that block where the blank page, that they hope to fill with creativity, remains frustratingly blank. Katie’s session will help writers leap that hurdle.

As always there is no need to book, all aged 18+ are welcome. Just bring along something to write on (perhaps a blank page), something to write with and you are bound to leave with some new inspiration and writing.

Riverside Writers weekly session are free of charge but voluntary donations towards running costs (suggested £2) are always welcome.
