This Thursday sees the final Riverside Writers session of the year so we will have a bit of a celebration – mince pies and lots of poetry and prose.
We’ll have a theme of ‘Alternative Christmas” and invite members to bring something to read or to write during the session.
As always our session is open to all aged 18+ and there is no need to book, just bring some seasonal imagination and we’ll be fine.

Improbable Fiction
Curtain Theatre, Rochdale, until 20th December
This is a really entertaining and funny play written by Alan Aykbourn and performed at Curtain Theatre. The final show will be on 20th December.
This reviewer, and a few fellow Riverside Writers, went along to the opening night and had a great time so why not catch a show if you can – tickets are a very reasonable £10.85.
