Another week with plenty of opportunity to get our creative writing juices flowing with two local events:
Time – by Eileen Earnshaw
Rochdale Central Library, Thursday 9th April, 10am – 12noon
This week Eileen will be leading a workshop around the concept of time and its use in literature. What a great way to spend a couple of hours (or 180 minutes) on a Thursday morning.
Why not come along and join us. Bring something to write with and your ideas.
As always anyone aged 18+ is welcome to attend our sessions which are free of charge (although voluntary donations of £2 from those who can are much appreciated).
Poetry Café
Coffee on the Corner, Littleborough, Tuesday 7th April, 6pm to 8pm
Poetry café our monthly open mic style poetry get together takes place this Tuesday evening. There is always a great variety of poetry to listen to and you are welcome to come along and read or as audience members.
There is no charge for this event and no need to book. If you’d like to read please let Liz White know when you arrive so that you can be added to the list. As the café provide this lovely cosy venue please support them by buying a drink (hot drinks and wine always available) and don’t miss out on some of their gorgeous home made cakes.
