Online Creative Writing Group – Tuesday 26th May, 6.30pm to 8.00pm
After a successful first session two weeks ago the second meeting of the online writing group will take place on Zoom. The session is hosted by Seamus Kelly for Rochdale Writes and will include prompts and writing exercises with plenty of chance to write and share. The session is free of charge and anyone aged 18+ is welcome to join us. We are particularly keen to provide opportunities for those unable to access physical venues or attend writing groups during office hours.

As Jane Austen said to me the other day
Ray Stearn will be leading a workshop at our session on Thursday morning titled “As Jane Austen said to me the other day”. During a recent trip to Scotland Ray was been inspired by quotes from female authors and will also include a variety of Scottish lines to help encourage and support some new creative writing.
The session is open to anyone aged 18+ and is free of charge – just bring along something to write with and your imagination. You may choose to bring a voluntary donation of £2 towards the cost of running the group. There is a vending machine in the library for refreshments but you may prefer to bring along your own drinks.
