After putting the clocks forward this weekend grab your notebooks and pens for a busy start to April.
On Tuesday 1st April from 6pm to 8pm you can share your poetry at Poetry Café at Coffee on the Corner in Littleborough. We love to hear your poems, other favourite poems. If you want to read just let Seamus or Liz know when you arrive, you are also very welcome to come along and listen. As always the café will be offering their range of hot drinks and excellent home made cakes.
On Thursday morning 3rd April, from 10am to 12noon, our weekly Riverside Writers session, led by Eileen Earnshaw, will look at creating scripts using dialogue and radio formats. The session will take place in Rochdale Central Library, at Number One Riverside, and all writers aged 18+ are welcome to join us.
On Thursday afternoon Number One Writing Group hold their monthly session, also in Rochdale Central Library, will have a workshop titled “Sitting with giants” – a reference to literary giants, not the oversized characters from mythology – by Seamus Kelly.
