Among the various traditions around Christmas, and indeed Winter, is one of ghost stories.

For our final workshop of 2024 we will look at the genre and create some Winter Chillers of our own. With just a couple of weeks until Christmas this is an ideal chance to write something to send chills down the spines, to have everyone looking over their shoulders and to make them shiver even if it is warm sitting by the fire.

We can write about ghosts (as Dickens so famously did), we can write about scary characters like Krampus, we can tell tales of the uncanny and the unknown. Its dark early and cold outside and imaginations can run wild when given a few nudges, so why not join us for the darker side of the season?
