Boom! Then the sky fell in

This evening we enjoyed, “Poetry Café, an excellent evening of poetry from 10 local poets at Coffee in the Corner in Littleborough.

Next on Thursday morning, 6th February, Riverside Writers will feature a workshop entitled “Boom! Then the sky fell in” from Eileen Earnshaw. Expect inspiration and ideas from what promises to be an enjoyable session. As usual we start at 10am running until noon.

Just a couple of hours later at 2pm the Number One Writers will meet in the same venue with a workshop called “Sitting with giants”. These are not the mythological very large people, rather these are giants of literature being JJR Tolkien, WB Yeats and Pablo Neruda.

The busy local creative writing week finishes with an open mic event hosted by Eileen Earnshaw and Michael Higgins at the Vicolo del Vino in Rochdale town centre.
