As we arrive in the last month of the year Riverside Writers will have a workshop themed on some of the traditions we have built around this winter month and around Christmas. Whether your traditions include hibernating or singing out loud to The Pogues there will plenty of opportunity to generate some new ideas and writing.
This is our penultimate session for 2024, with the final session taking place on Thursday 12th December. We will return to our regular weekly sessions in January following our Christmas break.
Poetry Café
On Tuesday 3rd December at Coffee on the Corner, in Littleborough, we will be holding our 4th monthly Poetry Café – this is a free, friendly and relaxed open-mic style event. The café will be opening specially for our event, from 6pm to 8pm, and will be serving their excellent range of drinks and lovely home baked cakes. You are welcome to come along to read some of your poetry (or a favourite piece) or to listen as part of the audience. If you would like to read please ask Seamus to add you to the list.
