This Thursday the Riverside Writers session will be a poetry/spoken word workshop titled “I come from” delivered by Seamus Kelly.
We will discuss the theme, which encompasses time and place, family, community, dreams, and hopes and we will look at some examples of relevant writing, before creating some new work. There will be suggestions and templates to help get started on a new piece.
All are welcome to our free sessions and workshops, there is no need to book, just come along and join us. The session will run from 10:00am to 12:00noon in Rochdale Central Library, Number One Riverside, Rochdale.
