Vicolo del Vino, Rochdale, 7pm
Our founding member and superb poet, Eileen Earnshaw, will be celebrating her 80th birthday next month. Eileen has been involved with running a long-standing monthly open mic night in Rochdale at various locations.
As from Sunday 13th October these events will have a new venue at Vicolo del Vino in Rochdale town centre.
This first event in the new venue will include a celebration of Eileen’s birthday and we expect there to be lots of poetry, some music, perhaps a little dancing and there will be a choice of meat and potato pie or cheese and onion pie. Vicolo del Vino serves a great selection of drinks and is a great supporter of local artists, hosting a number of events and groups, so it is great to be able to see a regular poetry and music open mic event in this venue.
