In response to suggestions from members, Thursday 19th September 2024, sees the introduction of a new style of session for Riverside Writers.
As a group we aim to encourage and support each other in creative writing and we have set a target to produce new writing and prepare it for submission to publishers. To prepare work for publication involves editing and development and this can be particularly challenging without support.
With this in mind our 3rd session, each month, will be offer an opportunity to develop our work with support, suggestions and critique from fellow writers. Those who wish to do so are invited to bring copies of a piece of writing for discussion, analysis and positive critique during the session.
The other sessions during the month will follow our regular format of a themed workshop to encourage the creation of new work, providing a wide range of inspiration plus technical and creative tips.
